For many of you that know Doug Asbury and even the ones of you don't please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Doug drives in the hornet class and also helps promote the demolition derbies here at Brownstown Speedway. He is also the owner / mechanic of Cummins Auto
Repair in Seymour, IN.
Doug was seriously injured tonight at Lawrenceburg Speedway. Doug was working a demolition derby (something he really enjoys doing) when a car pinned him between the car and a concrete barrier wall breaking one leg in two different places and shattering an ankle.
As of right now (1:30 a.m.) Doug is at Cincinnati Hospital going through several X rays and the Surgeons are talking with Leslie (Doug's Fiance) and Doug.
We are planning benefit / fundraiser / donation party for Doug tomorrow night at Brewskies Grub & Pub in Seymour, and will continue to do so each night
we do karaoke at Brewskies. Doug is one of our regular singers and would do anything to help anyone of us that is in need. So let's do the same for him
and come out and give what you can to help with expenses that Doug and his family are going to encounter.
Any contribution at all is appreciated and can be mailed to us and we will be sure Doug and his family recieve it.
Contributions can be mailed to: Chad Keithley 108 E. Meadowlark Dr Seymour, IN 47274 in care of Doug.
We will keep you updated more tomorrow when we find out more.
Thanks
